Welcome to the Red5 Home page.

Why Red5? Well two reasons really (also explained on Wikipedia):

• The call-sign of the X-Wing fighter that Luke Skywalker pilots in Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope.
• Nigel Mansell's nickname whist he drove for Williams and Newman/Haas Racing, coined by Formula 1 commentator Murray Walker. Red 5 was the number on his car, as illustrated in the photo below:
  

Which ties things together quite nicely as it links together two of my favourite subjects/hobbies in Star Wars and Motor Racing.
